Biography

Dilip Mukherjee, Ph. D is a retired Professor in the Department of Zoology, Kalyani University, India. An endocrinologist with training and research experience in endocrinology laboratory, Visva- Bharati, Santiniketan, India and Hormone Research Centre, Chonnam National University, Korea, Dr. Mukherjee served 35 years faculty member in the Department of Zoology, KU with responsibility in teaching and research on basic and applied endocrinology and reproductive physiology. Twenty three research students have been awarded Ph. D degrees and three are waiting to submit their Ph. D thesis shortly under his supervision. He handled twelve research projects from various agencies under Govt. of India and published near about seventy papers in International and National journals of repute including three book chapters. Dr. Mukherjee served in numerous scientific advisory board and expert committee and visited many countries like Japan, Korea, Thailand, China, Taiwan and USA for delivering scientific lectures. Dr. Mukherjee served as visiting Professor in many Universities of India and is the Academy Fellow of West Bengal Science and Technology and Member of National Academy of Science, India.
